Part of the Archive IV collection, the Bullerswood paper is inspired by a hand-woven carpet in Merton Abbey and exhibited by Morris & Co. in the exhibition of the Society of Artof 1893.This original design probably comes from the huge Persian original hung by Morris in his dining room at Kelmscott House and resembles a traditional Persian carpet.
