A flight beyond the limits of imagination takes Fornasetti to an enchanted and hypnotic Jerusalem. Multiple viewpoints overlap, with different architectural styles chasing each other in a continuous pattern. The precise black lines of the buildings interpret a boundless imagination, creating an intriguing texture. The first dreamlike journey of this design took place in the wallpaper "Gerusalemme," designed by Piero Fornasetti for the lobby of his Milan residence in the late 1940s. It later expanded to trays, magazine racks, lamps, and furniture. In the early 90s, a radiant sun was added to the landscape peeking out from the clouds, adding another element of fantasy to this extensive pattern.
