Sumba brings the gentle island breeze into our interiors... Under this impression of simplicity, a design of intertwined and inverted shapes appears. Infinitely and symmetrically repeated, their differences come from the thickness of the fibers, their colors, and the direction of the weave. Following the contours of a stylized leaf, these shapes are die-cut and then hand-placed on a non-woven base. They create a visual tempo and a beautiful harmony of natural tones.
