Small pieces of rattan carefully hand-inlaid in a playful pattern that at first glance appears random. Starting from that artisanal work, this machine-made version is created. The alternation between straight and curved lines gives a natural expression to the design. The name comes from the inactive volcano Mauna Kea, which is the highest mountain in Hawaii.
