This panorama, printed on real fabric, owes its name to the commune of the same name, Doudeville, located in Normandy and also known in France as capitale du lin (linen capital). The inspiration for this subtle design comes from the origins of linen, specifically from the many flax fields of Western Europe. After the harvest, the cut stalks are left in the field, creating a striking striped landscape with beautiful shades of colour. This image, so characteristic of Doudeville and other linen regions, has been transformed into an impressive striped pattern.
