Plecto is a pioneering knitted mesh fabric with a wool surface. Designed by Febrik, it has a sporty, multi-dimensional expression that matches high-tech garments.

Extremely comfortable, Plecto combines two contrasting layers: a mesh surface made predominantly of wool and a polyester base layer. This gives the fabric a unique look that explores and changes with perspective. As it is stretched over the furniture, holes in the mesh open up to reveal glimpses of its construction.

Plecto's palette is carefully calibrated to complement the cool, technical character of the design. It varies from dark masculine notes and subtle neutrals to bright light tones.

The three-dimensionality of the fabric is particularly pronounced when two contrasting colours are combined, while other colour combinations have a more subtle tone-on-tone appearance.

Typically for a knitted fabric, Plecto offers excellent elasticity and is therefore an optimal choice for organically shaped furniture. Due to its two contrasting layers, it is ideal for mixing and matching with plain and unicoloured textiles.
