FABRICS Encircle C0722

Encircle is a sculptural upholstery fabric with a tactile and meticulous expression. It explores the delicate irregularities of natural surfaces and is inspired by the craftsmanship and landscapes of Grand-Bassam, Côte d'Ivoire.

Complex yet simple, Encircle unites a naturally irregular bouclé yarn and a simply dyed ground yarn. This construction gives the tapestry a meticulous look: intricate irregular circles seem to emerge from its surface. Like the leaves, each has an individual shape.

Encircle's distinctive features also include a pronounced softness and an elegant, rounded expression. It combines particularly well with Interlace, a curtain fabric designed by Karin An Rijlaarsdam, as well as with many wool designs from the Kvadrat collection.
