Information
The subtly varied colours of Balder bring an appealing softness to upholstered furniture. Originally designed by Fanny Aronsen and coloured by Raf Simons, Balder is woven with several different shades of yarn in a seemingly irregular weave pattern that creates subtle fluctuations of colour on the surface of the fabric.
From fresh and directional to reassuringly classic and rich, Balder's key colour combinations are based on greens, greys, purples, pinks and yellows. In some cases, the base colour is combined with a top note colour (in one, pink is intertwined with a vibrant orange, in another with a vibrant green) with refreshing, yet surprisingly understated results.
