The Atlas wool upholstery textile is designed by Margrethe Odgaard. It is particularly notable for its new melange expression and meticulously nuanced colour blends.

Atlas was created to offer a pioneering melange look that complements the existing melanges in the Kvadrat collection. Margrethe Odgaard has achieved this with a construction that joins two yarns of different colours, each of which combines two colours, in the warp and weft.

With Atlas, unlike other mélanges, the colours are not mixed in the fibres. Instead, they are expressed, as patterns, through the structure of the material. As a result, the fabric offers exceptional colour intensity and intricate colour details...
