FABRICS Area Conker K5340-03

Inspired by origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, AREA was created after exploring designs that can shrink and expand, which is typical of a 4D object. When paper or quilting fabric is folded, the 2D surface evolves into a 3D shape. This changes the surface of an object, hence the name, AREA. Quilted for extraordinary texture, the fabric is created using 100% recycled wool from fashion with recycled polyester FR foam wadding made from plastic bottles.
