HERBES FOLLES takes us halfway between figuration and abstraction. Inspired by Matisse's cut-outs, a vegetal garland is embroidered with cotton thread on a natural fabric. Made of linen, cotton and viscose, and abundantly embroidered, the fabric retains a beautifully supple drape and airy graphics, illustrating Matisse's aesthetic approach.
