Barra is a small island in the Hebridean Sea off the coast of Scotland. The Hebrides are famous for their hand-woven textiles, the result of traditional craftsmanship and sheep farming that produce high quality wool. BARRA, an extra wide satin weave to filter the light, was inspired by them. This effect is obtained by adding a black weft yarn during weaving. This FR quality has a silky side and a woolly side that can be reversed at will.
