Similar in type to the Colville, the Claremont plays with contrasts of sheen, alternating bands of canneté with bands of plain satin so that the silk warp is accentuated to the maximum. The palette is broad, ranging from the classic colourless colours (ivory, platinum, light taupe) to shades of blue, green and black. The choice of different colours in the two fabrics Colville and Claremont was studied in order to create a wider and more heterogeneous palette as requested by Armani in particular.
