This large version of The Guest bears the signature of Camille Walala, a French multidisciplinary designer based in London. Walala is characterised by a vibrant and distinctive body of work that manifests itself in her radical illustrations. In her proposal, Walala invites the viewer to take a journey through two pieces that fuse an artistic vision that evokes optimism and chromatic energy. The Guest by Camille Walala is full of contrasts, combining bright, bold colours with intricate shapes and patterns. As in most of her work, Walala has intervened the porcelain with "slightly imperfect" abstract shapes, soft, hand-drawn lines and circles to create a dynamic and powerful visual effect. Two creations that are based on the artist's series of works called "Putting things in perspective", in which she devises trompe l'oeil playing with planes and perspectives.
