Description:

An African proverb says: If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go with others. When the dry season arrives in the savannah, female elephants lead the herd on an ancient route in search of water. Sabana Africana is a masterpiece more than a metre long that stands out for its perfectly modelled shapes and the richness of textures that only Lladró artists are capable of achieving. With their hands, they turn porcelain into the rough skin of elephants and the soft fur of giraffes. The decoration in soft pastel tones contributes to the realism of the whole, with a detailed paint job that takes care of every detail of the animals. A piece that speaks to us of the value of wisdom that is passed on from old to young as a legacy of protection and respect for nature and the environment.
