Samurai Warrior Sculpture

Description:

Lladró has taken inspiration from pre-modern Japanese warriors to create an imposing sculpture that expresses the qualities that defined these protective guardians: restraint and strength. Samurai Warrior is made of stoneware, an ideal material for large-scale creations decorated with glazes. These pigments, when crystallised in the kiln, acquire a myriad of nuances which, moreover, are different in each piece, so that each resulting figure is unique and unrepeatable. The work of the ornaments on the armour, helmet and skirt, engraved by hand, completes the piece.
