The Phoenix is part of the collection 'The Spiritual Creatures', inspired by the principles of Feng Shui. According to this ancient philosophy, there are a series of symbolic animals that reflect certain favourable characteristics for a natural space, namely the tiger, the phoenix, the dragon tree, the tortoise and the snake. The bird that rises from the ashes appears in times of peace and prosperity; it is a symbol of virtue and grace. In Chinese culture it is a sign of good omen. In addition, the colour red, associated with this animal, is linked to all that is important and relevant. The decoration of this limited series focuses on intense oranges and reds that imitate tongues of flame in the lower areas and give way to a whole range of reds and garnets in the upper part of the piece.
