Winged Fantasy is a porcelain sculpture inspired by Greek mythology. The richness of the jewellery and clothing suggests that she is a goddess, the wings on her outstretched arms represent freedom and simulate dance. The contrast between the clarity of the woman's skin and her colourful clothing is striking. The matt finish with shimmering nuances throughout the sculpture and the mother-of-pearl effect of the necklace are interesting. On the wings, various shades of enamel, some of which are metallic, together with the golden lustre, contribute to the solemnity inspired by the figure and evoke the plumage of the peacock. Developed over a period of three years and requiring more than 70 hours of painting time between three people, the challenge of this creation is to ensure that the wings retain their balance and size after the kiln, as well as keeping them in the air. For contemporary environments, Winged Beauty is a Limited Series only available to 250 people worldwide, which would increase its value over time.
