The Carnival of Venice, the most romantic and refined in the world, is the theme chosen by Lladró to create its greatest artistic and technical challenge undertaken to date, a monumental and baroque work, exquisitely crafted. This Haute Porcelain creation, produced in a limited series of only 100 pieces, is conceived to be admired from all angles, like Venice at the height of Carnival. Its characters are inspired by Italian commedia dell'arte: Harlequin, Colombina, Pantalone, Pierrot, Scaramouche? all surrounded by the richest of scenery. A milestone in the history of porcelain art, whose creative process involved five years of research and testing. The work of 35 artists, 22,000 hours invested, nearly 450 fragments to give life to this new creation which includes 14 characters.
