A symbol of power and prosperity in Eastern culture, this magical being bearer of good luck stars in a spectacular limited series of Haute Porcelain. The hundreds of scales that cover its skin are hand-painted, one by one, with gold lustre, a very laborious technique that requires the expertise of the best artists. The lustre that distinguishes its spectacular decoration is achieved by combining glossy and satin finishes, which are joined by an iridescent metallic tone on the chest and a vivid turquoise tone on the crest. The complexity of the dragon's forms and the large number of small details make the process of creating it particularly difficult, from the modelling of the original sculpture to its final firing in the kiln.
