The starling is a small bird which, nevertheless, when it moves in community gives us one of the most beautiful pictures of nature. In their flight in flocks, these small birds synchronise their positions and create astonishing shapes that cover the sky like moving clouds. Lladró's artists have noticed the uniqueness of their iridescent black plumage, with a purple or green sheen, and reflect it in these starlings through painstaking ornamental work. In their black or purple versions, the tonal monochrome enhances each of the mini feathers that cover these small birds.
