An ancient Chinese legend tells of a young girl, daughter of the Dragon King, who was transformed into a frog and was lucky enough to be rescued by a man. As a gesture of gratitude, she spat out some coins and when her saviour picked them up, she resumed her human form, they married and lived happily ever after. Since then, the Chinese believe that a frog with money in its mouth attracts fortune and wealth. This is a limited edition piece made of porcelain finished with enamel and gold lustre.
