Description:

Sea fantasy scene, in which two young mermaids ride through the depths of the sea on a conch shell driven by two seahorses. The smaller mermaid carries a mandolin and the other an amphora. The great delicacy of the underwater vegetation stands out: the fine corals, the colourful seaweed,... made using the porcelain flower technique. This is one of the few Lladro pieces whose theme requires this kind of work, and in which Lladró's artisans have produced a masterpiece of extremely costly workmanship.
