BASILISK.CERAMIC SCULPTURE WHITE MATT

Sculpture made of ceramic with off-white matt finish and slightly rough texture. This is the sculpture of the green basilisk lizard, characterised by its double crest on its head and body.
The creation process requires 5 moulds in which the different parts are created and then reworked by hand, resulting in a unique piece with invisible joints thanks to the craftsmanship and experience of the ceramists.
The moulds are created from scratch after having sculpted the figure by hand and worked out each of the details that can be seen in this piece.
The delicacy of the legs and the undulations of the crest along the main body result in a delicate yet striking sculpture that leaves no one indifferent.
We want to highlight the value of the craftsmanship and manual work of all our ceramic pieces, a material that we use for the decoration of any space due to its warmth and its ability to transmit.
The double firing at high temperature can be appreciated in the quality of the piece both in its colour and in its touch and sound.
