Cocoon brings an unexpected dimension to the classic woven carpet. The designer Hella Jongerius sought to 'create a wool landscape in layers and touch with soft knots', which are accentuated with a generous edge.

A long thread of pure wool has been made from two colors, either in a striking contrast or in more quiet tone combinations. Then it is fed to obtain a soft and comfortable texture before nesting it in irregular clusters. The result is dramatic and durable.
