The "SPART" collection of made-to-measure rugs, as the name suggests, isreminiscent of the esparto rugs that never go out of fashion. The weaving of these rugs is very similar to that of these rugs. The main difference lies in the fibre from which they are made.
SPART is 100% Olefin. This fibre is:
-Suitable for outdoor use: These rugs are UV and water resistant as well as resistant to mould and mildew.
-Stain resistant and easy to clean.
-SPART is also Reversible
Due to its handmade character, when sewing the strips together. SPART can show certain irregularities in the tones and shapes inherent to this unique piece which gives it a natural look characteristic of its personality.
As SPART is made by stitching the strips together, our bespoke rug may have some variations on the desired size as we depend on the width of the braiding and stitching (17/18mm).
As a made-to-measure carpet it must be finished and without any doubt the recommended finish is the STRONG BAND made from the same yarns that make up the collection. The border is made on two sides only.
