With the Milano collection, the surface of velvet is now animated not only with its delicate reflections, but also with true drawings and contrasting patterns, breaking free from its monochromatic traditions to offer unexpected and decidedly graphic compositions. In these creations, we see how its softness slips between the pictorial ideas of the Memphis movement: the perspectives colored with enigmatic architectural lines, the geometric shapes of an art with its free language in the manner of Ettore Sottsass and the linked pebbles of a contrasting Aosta Valley.
